Northumberland offers first class windsurfing conditions for beginners and experts alike.

Embleton Bay, which is literally 300 yds from our Hotel is a wave location. When the wind blows from a Northerly or Southerly direction this spot becomes a classic cross shore location. The beach is wide and the water crystal clear. The only reef of concern is Jenny Bells on the Northerly side of the bay which is only hiden on big tides. Newton Bay further to the North offers a sheltered area. It is ideal for beginners even with offshore winds when the tide is out.
