There are some wonderful opportunities for exploring the area on foot, either along the coast, through the border regions, or into the nearby Cheviot hills. We also cater for Coach Party Walking Holidays. We include here an example of a typical itinerary. Coach Party, Walking Holidays Day 1 - Arrive early evening for dinner. Day 2 - Full English breakfast to build up your energy, an inspiring walk lies ahead, along outstandingly beautiful coastline. Starting at Elwick, over Ross Sands to Bamburgh via Budle Bay, with a stop for a packed lunch along the way. Coach back to Embleton Bamburgh, with dinner and a relaxing atmosphere waiting. Day 3- Full English breakfast, then a majestic moor-land walk through the Cheviot foothills and after a packed lunch, with stunning views, a walk home through the enchanting 'Happy Valley'. Arrive back at the hotel for a relaxing dinner. Day 4- Full English breakfast followed by a short journey by coach to the Till Valley, with a casual walk to Ford Castle and a stop for lunch. Then off on the route to Flodden Field where the battle took place in 1513. Coach back to the hotel with a final chance to sample our Northumbrian farye.
