Parsport Tickets Scheme, information can be given from the sportsman hotel! The Northumberland ParSport allows both local people and visitors to enjoy a wide range of Northumberland Golf Courses. It runs from 1 April - 31 October and provides midweek access to 12 courses in North Northumberland including moorland, parkland and coastal courses. The courses are those at Belford, Goswick golf course, Magdalene Fields course, Seahouses golf course, Wooler golf course, Alnwick golf course, Alnmouth Village golf course, Burgham Park golf course, Dunstanburgh Castle golf course, Rothbury, Swarland and Warkworth. ParSports are valid for consecutive weekdays only, not weekends and must be used in a single Monday-Friday period, not over consecutive weeks. In 2003, a 3 day ParSport offering unlimited golf (with a maximum 36 holes on any one course) costs only £47 and a 5 day ParSport costs £75 ParSports are available by calling in person to Alnwick, Berwick, Amble, Craster, Rothbury, Wooler and Seahouses Tourist Information Centres. ParSports can also be purchased in advance by sending a cheque for the appropriate amount to The Tourism Department (Golf), Wallace Green, Berwick-upon-Tweed, TD15 1ED. Tel: (01289) 330733. Cheques should be made payable to Berwick-upon-Tweed Borough Council and you will need to specify the dates you wish to use the ParSport.
